Frequently asked questions due to Covid-19:
Will the Outdoor Pool open this summer?
Yes! The Bridgeton Crossing Outdoor Pool will open on June 15 with the limitation of 25% bather load capacity. This will allow 80 patrons at the pool at any given time. We hope this capacity restriction will loosen as the season progresses and can accommodate more swimmers. We will continue to monitor the guidelines put in place by our Federal, State and Local leaders and adjust capacity limits accordingly.
Who is allowed to use the Outdoor Pool?
While at 25% capacity, only season pass holders will be allowed at the Aquatic Facilities. We will open up swimmer availability once the capacity restriction is loosened.
Can I purchase a season pass?
Starting June 8, you may purchase a season pass if you are a City of Bridgeton Resident or a Non-Resident who had a season pass in 2019. The Recreation Center front desk will be processing memberships over the phone (314-739-5599) beginning June 8. Please call ahead to help minimize lines and long wait times when facilities reopen June 15. Daily admission and Non Resident Season Passes will not be sold until the capacity restrictions are loosened.
Will there be a discounted rate on season passes due to the shortened length?
Yes. All season passes will be discounted by 20%.
What are the hours of operation?
Every day, 12-6pm
How will the aquatic facility open since social distancing is still in place?
The aquatic facilities will have limited capacity based off of State and Local Guidelines. These reduced capacities will restrict the number of guests allowed into the facility at any one time allowing guests to separate. The number of lounge chairs on the pool deck will be reduced and placed at least 6 feet apart. Capacity limits will be monitored and adjusted accordingly as State and Local Guidelines change.
Can I have a birthday party or private rental at the pool?
These rentals will not be allowed at the Outdoor Pool until capacity and gathering size restrictions loosen. However, we will begin taking reservations on July 1 through the end of the summer. Please be advised that if capacity levels do not increase or social distancing requirements are not eased, these rentals could be cancelled with a full refund.
