Registration Information & Refund Policy
Resident / Member Qualifications
Residents are defined as individuals who reside within the City of Bridgeton city limits and hold a valid Bridgeton Parks and Recreation Card. Members of the Bridgeton Recreation Center with current membership card also receive resident rates on department programs and services.
How to Register
Register in person at the recreation center during normal operating hours. You may also register via phone (for most programs) using MasterCard, Visa or Discover.
When to Register
Resident registration begins immediately for most programs and will be taken until the first class meeting, unless otherwise noted in the Activity Guide (PDF). The department reserves the right to cancel or postpone any program due to insufficient enrollment or other valid reason.
Refunds
Classes/Special Events – Refunds must be approved through the class supervisor and are issued at a prorated amount (where applicable) any time after the class has begun. All refunds are subject to a $5 processing fee with the exception of those classes that are canceled.
Camps – Refunds must be approved through the camp supervisor and are issued at a prorated amount (where applicable) any time after the camp has begun. All refunds are subject to a $5 processing fee. Refunds will not be given for field trip fees that have already been paid for and for Six Flags tickets.
Leagues – There are no refunds given for league registration. A full refund will be issued for any canceled leagues. A prorated refund will be provided if weather prohibits a session from completing all games.
Facility Memberships – Annual membership refunds will be issued at a prorated amount and are subject to a $25 cancelation fee. Monthly memberships require a 30 day notice in writing prior to the cancelation date. ($5 for mini memberships)
Daily Admission – There are no refunds for daily admission.
Room/Pavilion Rentals – Renters may cancel their rental up to 30 days in advance and receive full refund of security deposits and rental fees. Cancellations made within 30 days of the rental will result in forfeiture of the security deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days of the rental will result in forfeiture of security deposit and half of the rental fees. Cancellations made within 7 days of the rental will result in forfeiture of security deposit and all rental fees. The City reserves the right to cancel any rental that has not provided all required documentation and payment.
Accident Policy
The Bridgeton Parks and Recreation Department does not provide insurance coverage for injuries suffered while participating in programs or using facilities. We, therefore, urge you to contact your personal medical insurance carrier in the event of an accident.
