Information on Tree Limb Pick-Up by the City of Bridgeton

Again this season the City will offer a tree limb pick-up service from October 1, 2018 through April 22, 2019 in accordance with the schedule printed below.  The rules will also be the same as last year and are as follows:

  • Tree limbs must be placed at the curb for pickup on Monday of your pickup week and must be no larger than 3 inches in diameter as well as no longer than 8 feet in length and must be stacked with the cut end facing the street;

  • Yard waste items like small branches, twigs, bushes, thorn bushes, ground cover, vines, grass and tree leaves should be bundled, bagged, or loose in the trash can for pickup by the trash collector on Yard Waste Day (Wednesday).  Construction materials like lumber, plywood and any type fencing or wire will not be picked up and should be handled by a private hauler or contact the trash hauler;

  • The tree limb pick-up is limited to single family residences (no apartments or condominiums), and each residence will be limited to a maximum of 3 hours of service each season (October1 through April 22);

  • This service is intended to help residents who trim their trees.  It is not intended to replace cleanup of tree limbs that do not originate on your lot.
