DARE DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education)

A Certified Police Officer teaches Drug Abuse Resistance Education at Pattonville School District (Bridgeway Elementary School) once a week. This highly acclaimed program provides kids the skills they need to avoid involvement in drugs, gangs, and violence.

 

School Resource Officer

The Police Department provides a full time Police Officer at Pattonville School District (Holman Middle School). The Officer provides the school with security, conflict resolution, mentoring, and education. The goal of this program is to build a continued trust between law enforcement, the school and the youth involved.

FREE Gun Locks

The Bridgeton Police Department will provide gun locks upon request - free of charge. Simply come to the Bridgeton Government Center Police Records window (during business hours) and ask for a gun lock. A safety booklet is included with the lock. The locks are furnished by the "Project Child Safe" www.projectchildsafe.org.
